Passive is really, really rapping on "The Lost Demo"

 The hard hitting  "Identity intro" caught my attention from the beginning.  The switch up of
the flows, the  beat, the overall feel of this song along had me excited to hear more.  Passive releases "The Lost Demo" & it is 14 songs of greatness.  14 songs of great production, great lyrics, and amazing talent.  On "Sheesh" Passive raps "Pride got a funny way of showing it's face" & this song gives me a classic east coast feel with some top tier rapping.  G Monsta makes an appearance on "Same Ol Same" & it's one of the standout tracks on the project.  "Like it is" has that gritty feel & the beat is contagious.  I also love the beat switches in some of the songs which keeps each song interesting & it keeps you on your toes.  "Pretty like the moon" is one of the ones that I had to keep on repeat.  The vibe on this song is very different from everything on the project.  If you really appreciate some great rapping, story telling, lyricism & excellent song making then this is the project for you.  "Broke" is one of them ones as well.  I'm amazed at the wordplay & the overall feel of this song.  "I don't wanna be broke forever, tell me where to find the treasure". "One Day Vacay" is something special.  The flow on this one gets me going & the beat has that bop to it that I like.  "The world isn't perfect, this place is a mess".  The lyrics in this song touches my soul, I need to take me a one day vacay real soon & let this song play on repeat out loud while i'm relaxing.  "Something in the water, got me wanting something more"...it's some lines in this song that really had me reflecting & had me wanting more.  Passive shows his versatility on "I pray" & it fits perfectly on this album.  Passive released 14 songs of wonderful music that the world needs to hear.  Do yourself a service & enjoy this masterpiece.  

Yellow Eyes by Julience is a hit!

 Julience releases the hit song "Yellow Eyes," & it's truly something special. From the time you hear the guitar all the way to the end of the song, you become addicted to the sound. It seems the logical sequel to "Love Lies Cold," were guitars were prominent as well. This song also has a classic rock, synonymous with the artist.

This is one of these songs I can hear on movie soundtracks, at a bar, party, or some feel-good music to play at home. "Yellow eyes" is definitely repeat worthy & I believe the world will love it. 

LaRussell & this is "20 Shots" is powerful!!!!

 It's rare these days that a song can give me chills and have goosebumps all over me.  This song did it!! This song is authentic and so honest.  The words, the content, the message, the everything!!! I literally had tears in my eyes as I watched this video.  You can actually hear the pain in LaRussell's voice as he raps.  You can tell everything that he is saying is coming from a deep place & it puts his soul on this track.  This song made me FEEL, this song made me THINK, this song made me REFLECT, this song is POWERFUL.  The world needs to hear this.  20 Shots by LaRussell is something special.

Therapy Tapes by Old Man Brandon is a must listen

 Old Man Brandon releases "Therapy Tapes" and the first song "Therapy" touches my soul instantly.  A subject that is not discussed as much as it should be these days is actually really dope to hear on a song.  A person realizing they need help & reaching out for help to make improvements and to better their life is amazing.  This song alone is super powerful & the world needs to hear it.  "Super Manic" follows up Therapy and this is another introspective song that I love.  I can honestly say this album is good for your soul & it's good for your mind. To hear Old Man Brandon speaking about mental illness & going through life struggles is a breath of fresh air because I know a lot of people will be able to relate to this.  "Nightmares" is another one that is deep & it's like a guilty pleasure because the beat is so perfect on this song.   I can honestly say pay attention to all of the words that are being spoke on all these songs & this album is deep.  "I'm having nightmares about my job", anybody who ever felt like this & or been at a job they hate will love this one.  This album is spiritual & real.  The lyrics on "Pull Me Through" are so real, so accurate, so honest, & brave.  I wish more rappers would be this brave on their songs.  "I got faith he will pull me through all this".  It's lines/hooks like that on this project that makes me restart a song & play it again from the top.  The song "Forever" has a melodic feel & it's a different vibe from everything else on the project but it fits in perfectly.  Krizz Kaliko makes an appearance on "Disappear" & this is another brutally honest song that I can appreciate it.  A song about not wanting to live, not wanting to die, but just wanting to disappear for a little bit.  "Inside it kills" is another one that I love, Old Man Brandon is speaking on how things change, people change, & getting cheated on.  A vulnerable song that is written amazingly & the title alone is amazing.  The album speaks on "Fairweather Fans" & of course he speaking on how people change & how people treat you when you don't do what they want.  Fairweather Fans vs. Real Fans, it's always good for an artist to know the difference.  Listen to this song & you'll know what type of fan someone is.  Old Man Brandon "Therapy Tapes" is a must listen.  

Karma Town blesses us with Please Stop

 

"Please stop" by Karma town is something unique and special. I absolutely love the instrumentation & the thought provoking lyrics. I also love that the lyrics are relatable on a grand scale to me and that makes me want to play this song over & over. Sometimes a beat & lyrics mesh together perfectly and something like this is created. This is certainly one of those songs that you may want to put on repeat and listen over & over. I can go to this song 10 years from now & it still will sound good. It may just resonate with me even more in the future. As far now...I'm calling it early, "Please Stop" by Karma Town is a classic. Lyrics with meaning, lyrics with substance, lyrics that can take my mind places will always win me over. Karma Town, great job!
