"Echoes" by The Anesthetic Youth is fulfilling!!!

The Anesthetic Youth album "Echoes" is out & it's 10 songs of amazing music.  The albums pops off with "Needless Nostalgia" & the instrumentation on this song is superb. "Days like this, are like old memories.  When we can't resist, our own epiphanies, i'm a fan of songs with meaning & substance & that is what this song gives.  I also love the "Better Days" record by this four-piece group, but the record "Fortune and Fame" is one of my favorites on the entire project.  The lyrics are emotional, creative & catchy.  Sometimes a song title will catch my attention and draw me in, that's what happened with "Love won't tear us apart" & this song did not disappoint.  I must add also that the female vocals on these songs mesh so well together with amazing guitar play.  "Love Hate Repeat" is another one that I had on repeat for a while as well.  The sequence of songs from "Love Hate Repeat" all the way to "Infliction" go so well together.  Out of those in that sequence "Light Up" takes it over the top for me.  The powerful vocals & the rap part that is on there fits perfectly.  "Tell me your darkest thought.  Deep within your hateful mind.  Does it make you feel alright".  Amazing wordplay, amazing instrumental, superb vocals, I can say this "Echoes" project feels complete & is amazing.

Sir-Vere releases PUSHING BEAT LAW PART 1

SIR-VERE releases PUSHING BEAT LAW PART 1 & it's one of those creative projects that almost anyone can enjoy.  The first song I got to brag on is "This is heaven",  this is a song that feels good.  The instrumentation, the beat, & overall feel of the song does something to me.   I also like "My Mind (Sonale Mix)" as well.  I have an appreciation for great guitar play on a song these days & this is one of those ones.  "Hunger" is another one of those ones that I love on this project as well.  I can see me right now on the dance floor listening to this and zoned out, having the time of my life.  Sir-Vere & Wiccatron linked up and did something fantastic with "Electra Glide", it got that electric, sonic, mesmerizing feel to it.  "Invasion" is another one that I love.  It gives me a theme song feel, or maybe a wrestler's entrance music, or perhaps a sports team entering the court playing this.  All & All this project is full of amazing remixes, creativity, & dance floor mixes.

Toney G drops that Narcotic Music

When I heard the intro on this "Toney G" project "Narcotic Music", I knew I was in for something great.  This project did not disappoint, the track "Narc music" pops off with what I like to call reality rap.  Also for some reason, these words feel authentic.  Sometimes when you hear an artist, you can just automatically feel that everything that is being rapped about is authentic.  The beat on the song "Shit List" is perfect.  The keys, the way the bass is hitting is perfect.  While the beat is amazing, Toney G delivers great lyrics.  This is one of my favorites on the album.  This sounds like one of those albums that will motivate you to get up & get it.  I can also see myself counting a lot of 100 dollars bills to the song "Drug Money"... "when you touch a different type of paper, it make you feel different"...This project gives me east coast vibes mixed with some down south vibes & excellent lyricism.  "Letter to myself 2" is another track that I love on this project.  "niggaz heard a rumor, turnt they backs like they ain't know me"...this the type of bars you getting on this track so you can tell it's that reality rap, it's the real music, it's the words & lyrics that people need to hear and study. "Zone 6" is one of them hardcore, gritty beats that I love.  Toney G flows immaculately over the track.  "My azure" is a different vibe from everything else on the project & it's perfect.  Perfect beat, perfect bars.  This is one of the ones that the women will love & replay none stop on repeat.  Toney G gets vulnerable on this one & it came out amazing, especially on that last verse. On "When we cry", Toney G reflects & lets it all out on the track.  The wordplay, the concepts, the production, I got to say I love this project.  Toney G made it happen with this one!!! It's a full complete, project.

San Diablo AllStars gave us "A Field Guide To Modern Trauma"

San Diablo AllStars releases "A Field Guide To Modern Trauma" & it's refreshing & creative.   The project starts off with "Klepto" & it's a dope beat with some great vocals.  I love hear some raps that I can understand & vibe to as well.  The title of the next song "Devil's work" caught my attention & I knew they had to be talking about something of some substance; I was correct.  The AllStars delivered on this as well, everything meshes well together.  Sidenote The mixing and mastering of these songs sound amazing as well & that's always great to hear.  Diastro shows up on the track "Everybody" & it gives me a rock feel infused with hip-hop.  The bars are superb on this track as well.  The track "Say what" gives me that old school hip-hop feel but at the same time it's groovy.  It's the perfect track for a real MC!!! I can honestly say this is my favorite track on the project, it's so hip-hop & pure rap.  The skills are highlighted to the highest level on this track.  "Get Some" is another one of my favorites...and the first verse on this song is WHEWWWW!!!! PERFECT!!! The verses on this song go nice with this beat & I believe I hear a famous sample in the beat but i'm not sure.  Regardless, it's another great track.  The project also features John Risdon on the track "Boomstick", Natalie Dime shows up on "People Are Strange", & Blush is featured on the final track "Nothing song".  Overall this album is dope & it full of great talent, production, vocals, & different emotions & feels.  No song sounds like another song, everything is in it's own lane & the AllStars did a great job completing this project.

This DRIFTWOOD EP is ravishing & amazing.

Oleka releases the brand new EP "Driftwood".  From the opening song "Two Years", you can feel the energy & uptempo vibe that is sure to catch your attention.  This EP is compromised of four songs that mesh well together & makes a great cohesive project.  The follow up song is "The Manufactured Truth" & the title alone had my attention before the song even came on.  This one is another uptempo track, ravishing guitar play & it has a smoothness to it that I love.  "Pulse" is something serious...I love the intro of the song.  It's one of those songs that start off one way & once the beat drops the energy level is heightened.  This Driftwood EP is put together very well.  The EP ends with the track "Dead Echoes" & it's another one that will get you going once you press play.  I wish it was a few more songs on the project but at the same time this solid 4 is perfect.   The Driftwood EP is certainly something a project that I recommend all my metal finds to check out.  Even if you're not a big metal fan, the music is still great & can be appreciated by anybody.

Jawja Boi Roy & Yank brings the "Vibes" on new song

Jawja Boi Roy (JB Tho) & Yank bring the vibes on the new summer anthem.  The melodic vibe of this song is amazing.  This tune is one of the ones that people will have on repeat for awhile.  I can also say that this song feels good.  When a song feels good, sounds good, and the lyrics are fantastic like this...whewww...The song is available on all digital media outlets for streaming and downloading.  The official music video will be dropping in the upcoming weeks.  This song could easily line up to be at least one of the biggest songs of the summer.  JB Tho & Yank really did what needed to be done on this song.

Opulence Osteen....Yessssss!!! Emily Misura!!!

This "Opulence Osteen" is ingenious, innovative, & prolific.  It's one of those songs that's full of creativity of openness.  I love to hear a song that sounds refreshing & brilliant.  It's one of those songs that you really have to play over & over.  The uptempo flow of the song is catchy and has a bop to it.  I'm also a fan of an instrumental with some unique sounds while hearing some great rapping.  "Salvation ain't free"....The only problem I have with the song is that I wish it was longer.  With the different flows & eclectic beat, I could have listened to a few more minutes of this.  "I can't stop smiling, i'm so fucking blessed. I can't stop smiling, i'm money obsessed.  Give me all your wealth, even if you're poor. Give me all your wealth, or i'll open hell's door".....I can't lie the last few bars of the song is so deep & makes me think about a lot.  A song that's uptempo like this, can make me bob my head & think at the same time is usually a great song for me.  If you really listen to the song, you can see where Emily is going with it.  Even if you have to rewind and pay attention closely.  Emily Misura delivered on this song.
