Gaviana releases some great R&B with "Vivid Dreams"

R&B Artist Gaviana releases her album "Vivid Dreams". She is in A-train artist. Gaviana voice music gives me a feel good feeling, euphoric, timeless, & takes me back to the day when every singer had to really know how to sing to be in the music business.  I love the production on "Let Go" & it's one of my favorites on the project.  I love the bop it has to it & the clean production.  "Come Closer" is a slow tempo, smooth track that showcases her vocal ability.  "Lost Gone" gives me those vibes that I used to get when my mother used to play music in the car & she used to sing her heart out.  It's something about all of these songs on "Vivid Dreams" that take me to a certain place.  Whether they take me back to my childhood, my current or past situations, or just a recent time in life.  "Stories Untold" gives me early 90s vibes & that's not a bad thing at all.  Anyone who can capture those early 90s vibes is always a plus for me.  I love the "Free" record as well which is a remake of a classic.  Gaviana added her twist to it and it's perfect.  The music video for it is pretty dope as well.  "Birds in the park" is one of the ones on the album that hits differently as well.  It sounds pretty different from everything else on the project.  It shows her versatility and her openness to be diverse & it works out.  Gaviana does a great job on this  "Vivid Dreams".

TopShotta Fi releases "New Meta"

This "New Meta" project by TopShotta Fi pops off the right way.  The first song "Out the hole" instantly catches my attention and that's always important to me. I like the laid back flow & I like the way he switched up the flow on this track as well.  I knew from that point that TopShotta Fi had to be a versatile artist.  "Breaking the curse" is one of the stand out tracks on the project.  The word play, the flow, the beat selection is all the way perfect on this one.  I love the vibe on this "Bitter End" song, this is my favorite.  That line that caught me was "Shawty I can do bad by myself, i'm so toxic i'm good by myself", I feel like he got in my brain & wrote that bar.  This song here gone be the one that EVERYBODY loves.  Chuku100 makes an appearance on "Bullzeye", "I'm sure these little niggas think they could guard us, I been through struggles so I'm keeping my guard up, In life you only go as far as your wallet".  "Don't come cheap" is another song that touched my soul.  That's how you know when a song will last forever, if it touches your soul then you probably will like/love that song forever.  On "In your city" TopShotta Fi, you can tell he is ready to have a good time.  This is one of those feel good songs that I love to hear on an album.  The album closes out with "Armada" & I can say this is a solid project.  From top to bottom, this album is enjoyable, versatile, refreshing & dope.  I'm looking forward to hearing more from TopShotta Fi in the future.

It's time to Fight 4 Survival

A lot of people make music & a lot of people are good...but when someone makes good music & have a distinctive voice...it's refreshing!!! The gritty & aggressive flow on "Fight 4 Survival" by "Maradah" is amazing.  You can feel the authentic-ness & the effort in this project.  The first song captured my attention & I had to play it back twice.  This project is full of energy, lyricism & liveliness.  To be honest, Maradah gives me a DMX feel, mixed with Onyx, but with a 2022 feel.  "A song ain't a song without material things", the combativeness & brilliance of the flow on the song "On the grind" is top tier.  "Indeanel" makes an appearance on the record "Soul Cries Again".  "How many lives will it take for our freedom to unlock", this is one of those songs that will touch your soul when you hear it.  You can hear the pain, the emotion, & the rawness in this song.  This song will make your soul cry. I'm amazed at the energy on this entire project, Maradah shines on the record "These streets" & "Get Serious".  "Prime the Beast" makes an appearance "This is the way", "We Up Next" & my one of my favorites "Hold My Own".  This project is complete & very relatable, especially to anyone who wants to hear some real raps.  "I been scrapping & grinding, I been waiting for timing", I love to hear artists speak what's really on their mind & it meshes well on a song.  "Moment WITH you" is a different vibe from most of the album but it's a perfect fit for the album.  Maradah just wants a moment.  The album concludes with "Can't let the world" & this is a song that I suggest everybody to play.  Maradah speaks on the enemy taking your soul, the cold world we living in, & not letting the world bring you down.  The 2nd verse on this song might just be the realist verse on this project or at least one of the realest.  It's gone have you thinking & reflecting.  "There is no happy endings, just a bunch of stories to tell...that's a fight 4 survival"

It's Got To Be About Love by the No Band Group

It's Got To Be About Love by the No Band Group is one of those unforgettable country rock songs that will touch your soul when you hear it.  Brian Starling handles the vocals & Randy Lee White wrote this song to perfection.  Sometimes a song can capture your heart as soon as it comes on.  That's what happened with "It's got to be about love".  I really love the lyrics & the overall instrumentation.  The lyrics get vulnerable with lines about searching high & low for someone to call your own & being tired of being alone.  I'm sure a lot of people will be able to relate to this song.  This a song about searching & finding a true love which we all deserve & desire to find.  "When push comes to shove, it's got to be about love".

"Echoes" by The Anesthetic Youth is fulfilling!!!

The Anesthetic Youth album "Echoes" is out & it's 10 songs of amazing music.  The albums pops off with "Needless Nostalgia" & the instrumentation on this song is superb. "Days like this, are like old memories.  When we can't resist, our own epiphanies, i'm a fan of songs with meaning & substance & that is what this song gives.  I also love the "Better Days" record by this four-piece group, but the record "Fortune and Fame" is one of my favorites on the entire project.  The lyrics are emotional, creative & catchy.  Sometimes a song title will catch my attention and draw me in, that's what happened with "Love won't tear us apart" & this song did not disappoint.  I must add also that the female vocals on these songs mesh so well together with amazing guitar play.  "Love Hate Repeat" is another one that I had on repeat for a while as well.  The sequence of songs from "Love Hate Repeat" all the way to "Infliction" go so well together.  Out of those in that sequence "Light Up" takes it over the top for me.  The powerful vocals & the rap part that is on there fits perfectly.  "Tell me your darkest thought.  Deep within your hateful mind.  Does it make you feel alright".  Amazing wordplay, amazing instrumental, superb vocals, I can say this "Echoes" project feels complete & is amazing.

Sir-Vere releases PUSHING BEAT LAW PART 1

SIR-VERE releases PUSHING BEAT LAW PART 1 & it's one of those creative projects that almost anyone can enjoy.  The first song I got to brag on is "This is heaven",  this is a song that feels good.  The instrumentation, the beat, & overall feel of the song does something to me.   I also like "My Mind (Sonale Mix)" as well.  I have an appreciation for great guitar play on a song these days & this is one of those ones.  "Hunger" is another one of those ones that I love on this project as well.  I can see me right now on the dance floor listening to this and zoned out, having the time of my life.  Sir-Vere & Wiccatron linked up and did something fantastic with "Electra Glide", it got that electric, sonic, mesmerizing feel to it.  "Invasion" is another one that I love.  It gives me a theme song feel, or maybe a wrestler's entrance music, or perhaps a sports team entering the court playing this.  All & All this project is full of amazing remixes, creativity, & dance floor mixes.

Toney G drops that Narcotic Music

When I heard the intro on this "Toney G" project "Narcotic Music", I knew I was in for something great.  This project did not disappoint, the track "Narc music" pops off with what I like to call reality rap.  Also for some reason, these words feel authentic.  Sometimes when you hear an artist, you can just automatically feel that everything that is being rapped about is authentic.  The beat on the song "Shit List" is perfect.  The keys, the way the bass is hitting is perfect.  While the beat is amazing, Toney G delivers great lyrics.  This is one of my favorites on the album.  This sounds like one of those albums that will motivate you to get up & get it.  I can also see myself counting a lot of 100 dollars bills to the song "Drug Money"... "when you touch a different type of paper, it make you feel different"...This project gives me east coast vibes mixed with some down south vibes & excellent lyricism.  "Letter to myself 2" is another track that I love on this project.  "niggaz heard a rumor, turnt they backs like they ain't know me"...this the type of bars you getting on this track so you can tell it's that reality rap, it's the real music, it's the words & lyrics that people need to hear and study. "Zone 6" is one of them hardcore, gritty beats that I love.  Toney G flows immaculately over the track.  "My azure" is a different vibe from everything else on the project & it's perfect.  Perfect beat, perfect bars.  This is one of the ones that the women will love & replay none stop on repeat.  Toney G gets vulnerable on this one & it came out amazing, especially on that last verse. On "When we cry", Toney G reflects & lets it all out on the track.  The wordplay, the concepts, the production, I got to say I love this project.  Toney G made it happen with this one!!! It's a full complete, project.
